Due to the COVID-19 occupancy limits of the Public Meeting Room and in keeping with safety protocols established by the Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission and recommended by the Sheriff’s Department, seating for the Jan. 25, 2022 School Board budget work session will be extremely limited; however, citizens wishing to attend the meeting in person may do so on a first-come, first-served basis as follows:

Any citizen wishing to attend the budget work session in person will need to check in with the Sheriff’s Deputies upon arrival. Citizens will be given a number and -- as seating is available -- be seated in the order in which they checked in. All citizens are encouraged to wear a face covering while inside the Public Meeting Room. Reservations will not be accepted, and citizens are not guaranteed admission. Deputies will begin issuing numbered tickets at 3:30 p.m.

This budget work session will be broadcast live online at http://chesterfieldschoolsva.swagit.com/live/ and on television via Comcast Channel 98 and Verizon Channel 28.

Upon conclusion of the work session, the School Board will adjourn into closed session in accordance with Section 2.2-3711.A of the Code of Virginia, the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and specifically under subsections:

(1) the discussion and consideration of personnel disciplinary matters; and,

(2) the discussion and consideration of matters that would involve the disclosure of student records.
